Example Events

The examples below offer a flavour of the type of events we are able to offer.

1)

A 3-day (2-night) Reward Trip event for 12 top performers from a London-based recruitment consultancy (from midday on Wednesday to late afternoon on Friday). Event overview:

	Wednesday – Midday pick up from Gibraltar airport and transfer to 5* hotel in Estepona, with the rest of the day to enjoy the excellent hotel facilities - including spa and indoor pool - followed by a relaxed meal in a nearby prestigious beachside restaurant.
	Thursday – Yacht charter from mid-morning to mid-afternoon including water sports and fabulous 5-course lunch with champagne. Early evening limousine pickup and drive to an exclusive restaurant inland to watch the sunset. Opportunity for a sales prize giving ceremony! Then on to Puerto Banus and VIP entry to one of the best nightclubs.
	Friday – Shopping in Marbella in the morning followed by lunch all together at the hotel’s pool bar. Depart from Gibraltar late afternoon.

2)

A 3-day (2-night) Management Strategy & Planning event for the senior leadership of a blue-chip global information management business, including Heads (8-10 people ) from all facets of the business (from midday on Wednesday to late afternoon on Friday). Event overview:

	Wednesday – Midday pick up from Malaga airport and transfer to 5* hotel in Sotogrande followed by reception drinks and use of the hotel facilities. Late afternoon meeting in conference room to agree aims and objectives of the following main business strategy day. Informal dinner at nearby beach club.
	Thursday – Planning meeting from morning to mid-afternoon. Conference facilities and break-out rooms available. Buffet lunch. Late-afternoon to Santa Maria Polo Club. Martini reception, then either watch the game or learn to play! Evening dinner at an exclusive restaurant in Marbella Old Town, including late entertainment.
	Friday – Morning de-brief and confirm action plans and commitments for return to the office. Lunch served at the hotel’s pool bar, then transfer to airport.

3)

A 3-day (2-night) Team-building event for 16 sales and marketing staff, from a leading online publisher (from midday on Monday to late afternoon on Wednesday). Participants are located in different offices across Europe. Event overview:

	Wednesday – Midday pick up from Malaga airport and transfer to 5* hotel in Marbella, drinks reception, and briefing on the 2 days ahead. Small group exercise in the afternoon for bonding purposes (themed, watersport-related, using hotel facilities). Early evening ‘get to know each other’ drinks in the hotel, then transport to a top beachside restaurant in Estepona.
	Thursday – From mid-morning to mid-afternoon the group participates in teams of 4 in an Andalucian cookery competition. Taught by authentic Spanish Chefs in their restaurant and judged by the Colby Events team. Prize-giving and transport back to the hotel. Early evening cocktails and meal at a typically Spanish restaurant in Benahavis. Then on to Puerto Banus to sample some of the best nightclubs in Europe.
	Friday – Free-time or de-brief session in the morning before departure. Lunch at the hotel and depart from Malaga late afternoon.
